The Long Beach Accelerator will take you to new heights.

Last week, I co-instructed the workshop on Pricing at the Long Beach Accelerator with CSULB’s Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship and LBA Board Chair, Dr. Wade Martin.  It has been terrific being part of the launch team of this private-public partnership now accepting applications for its third cohort!

Founders, hit the West Coast and enjoy the lifestyle you deserve while you build out your company and network with the right people to get the traction you seek.  $75,000 to $100,000 of equity funding is offered backed by excellent tailored programming, mentorship, municipal support, and corporate partnerships.  Members of the first two cohorts have already raised above their ask targets and two have received lucrative acquisition offers validating their traction achieved in the challenging conditions of the pandemic.

The Long Beach Accelerator (LBA) is a public-private partnership of investors, related businesses, academia, and the economically dynamic West Coast city of Long Beach, California.  Entrepreneurs spanning diverse sectors such as HealthTech, SpaceTech, CleanTech, EduTech, FinTech, Entertainment & New Media, SafetyTech, Supply and Transportation Logistics, and Tourism (among other sectors) are attracted to Long Beach and will find support in the Long Beach Accelerator.

Cohort two members consist of the following promising ventures:  Martixa (Healthtech), Closed Loop Plastics(Sustainability/Circular Economy), FIV Gateway (Fintech/Insurtech), Sensegrass (Agritech), and 123 Baby Box(DTC). The Long Beach Accelerator is led by the very capable Andrea White-Kjoss, board chairperson Dr. Wade MartinJohn Keisler (Economic Development Director of the City of Long Beach), and John Shen of Sunstone Investments

The Long Beach Accelerator is highly supportive of underrepresented founders.  Awesome women founders, this is a call out to you.  Everyone is welcome.

This is a great opportunity for US incorporated ventures looking to realize large market potential.  The early bird deadline is July 30, 2021 with a start date in the first week of December, 2021.
